Tourism Alliance Victoria invites you to the 2010 Student Summit! Held on Wednesday 24th March at the Melbourne Park Function Centre, the Summit will encompass themes and topics including:
- How to successfully network to gain professional experience and ways to utilise social networking tools;
- Key speakers from prominent Victorian operators;
- Various career paths students can take within the tourism and events industry;
- Tips on where to access employment opportunities within the industry;
- Valuable investment advice to help students manage their finance’s;
- Opportunities for students to get their ‘foot in the door’ and make themselves known within the industry.
The one day summit will provide networking opportunities for Post Graduate and Undergraduate University and TAFE students with Tourism Industry Professionals. It will also encourage them to seek prosperous careers in tourism by providing inspiring presentations from Victorian and interstate tourism professionals, government representatives and industry experts.
