Service Skills Australia is currently undertaking a continuous improvement project to update the SIR07 Retail Services Training Package, to ensure that the industry skill standards keep pace with changes and priorities for the retail and wholesale industries.
The discussion paper is now available for comment and will form the basis for the initial collection of information and feedback that will be used to develop recommendations on improvements to be made to the training package. Service Skills Australia will also be meeting with industry stakeholders to further discuss these issues.
